The Social Media Subcouncil, a group of government web managers at the federal, state and local levels, is launching a Speakers Bureau to coordinate a directory of experts who are willing to share their knowledge and experience of social and new media tools. If you're an advocate of these tools and eager to see them put to use in government, please join and help government take advantage of social media tools and concepts to advance agency missions.
To join the Speakers Bureau, please submit a complete a Speaker's Profile and send it to us at [submission address TBD].
The Speaker's Profile informs us of your areas of interest and expertise, provides brief summaries of any presentations that you can offer, and your preferences for the types of speaking engagements and audiences that you would like to reach. The information that you provide to us will be made available online to organizations seeking speakers for their events. Interested organizations may contact you independently of the Social Media Subcouncil to arrange your speaking engagement.
Please contact us if you have questions. [Links to contact us page or email address TBD]
