Social Media Subcouncil Public Wiki

This Wiki is managed by the Social Media Subcouncil, a group of government web managers at the federal, state, and local levels bringing together social media best practices and other resources for the benefit of government agencies.  It operates under the Federal Web Managers Council.

The Subcouncil uses the wiki to enage the community at large in discussion and to research various topics.  We define the community to include anyone, whether a government employee or not, who is interested in how government can take advantage of social media tools and concepts to advance agency missions.

To contribute, please request an account.  Anyone is welcome to participate, but we've found that anonymous participation results in a higher degree of discussion outside the bounds of civil discourse.
